Da Karsten zur Zeit auf einer Konferenz auf Sardinien ist (aaaaah, Sonne und Meer und Wärme!), bestreiten wir hier unsere Tage zu dritt. So auch den Großteil des Wochenendes. Wie gut, dass mein Wunsch letzte Woche in Erfüllung ging und es endlich mal Temperaturen über 10° Celsius gibt (wird ja auch mal Zeit, ehrlich!), denn wir hatten uns für heute vorgenommen, mit dem Buggy und dem Laufrad einmal um den ganzen See zu laufen. Das sind 5 Kilometer und, wie sich herausstellt, durchaus gut machbar, wenn die Motivation stimmt (wenn man logistisch klug in die eine Richtung losläuft, dann kommt man am Ende an dem Café mit Eis raus, das eigentlich nur 200 Meter in die andere Richtung liegt!).

Davor waren wir morgens aber noch wählen, wie es sich gehört! Und im Garten gearbeitet haben wir auch noch. Da war es einigermaßen ertragbar, dass die Kinder zur Zeit mal wieder nichts, aber auch nichts als Blödsinn im Kopf haben! Nun sind sie gottseidank Frischluft- und Sonnengesättigt und schlafen hoffentlich tief und fest die ganzen Nacht.

Beobachten einer Rötelmaus (wir vermuten übrigens, dass die merkwürdige Krankheit der Großen neulich das Hantavirus gewesen sein könnte) / Watching a bank vole (we suspect, by the way, that the mysterious illness of the little one a few weeks ago might have been caused by the hantavirus)

Zwei Sekunden später war ein kurzes Eingreifen erforderlich…warum hört nur nie jemand auf mich?? / Two seconds later, a quick intervention was necessary…why, oh why does noone listen to what I say??

Seebewohner / lake inhabitants

Und wegen dieser Seebewohner und der daraus resultierenden Grünfärbung (bärks) des Wassers gehe ich wahrscheinlich dann doch nicht baden…/ And thanks to the lake inhabitants and the resulting green color of the water (uagh!) I will probably not go swimming….

Since Karsten is finding himself at a conference in Sardinia (aaaaah, sunshine, seasisde and warm temperatures!), we are enjoying our days and most of the weekend as a team of three. Thank god my wish for warmer temperatures (explicitly above 10° celsius!) became true, because for today we had a trip around the lake planned. It’s a bit more than 5 kilometers and works out very well with a buggy and a trainer bike – and with the right motivation! (If one starts logistically wise in the one direction, one finishes the tour at a café with icecream, which is actually just 200 meters away from our house…in the other direction :-D).

Before we started, however, we were good citizens and went to the local polling place to vote for the regional government! And we did some work in the garden as well. Which made almost up for the fact  that the kids are doing nothing but nonsense at the moment! Well, now they are saturated with both fresh air and sunshine and are hopefully sleeping tight this night.
