Gewinner / winner

(English version follows below)

Dear readers, here’s a quick update that the winner of this year’s raffle has been determined and notified via email! We were really happy with all the participation and are already looking forward to the next International Day of the Book.

We are, by the way, gaining as well. The fruits of our hard (but entertaining and joyful) garden work, that is. Last week, our new garden gate was finalized, which leads directly onto a large lawn with a communal playground (I am sure you can imagine that the kids are very thrilled!). It was built by Karsten, painted by myself and might just look absolutely amazing next spring when all the ageratum and forget-me-nots are blooming. Next thing to be finalized will be the raised beds which we are working on. As you can see, we are real busy these days!

About erdhummel

Familial entropy - that's an insight into our current life which has been fundamentally changed last summer when our daughter was born. Having studied in Cottbus, Germany, and worked/studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, we momentarily live in a small town in Switzerland where Karsten is trying to save the environment and Freddie is trying to save our sanity. Since there is not much time for elaborate, long emails while doing that, we thought a blog might be a good option to smuggle ourselves into the lifes of our friends.
