Ironie / irony

(English version follows below)

Prime example for irony: if the next 12 hours after publishing the last blog post are as follows. Shortly after our bedtime, the hobbit awakes and is constantly loosing his pacifier. At midnight, he is fed up and starts crying. For the next two hours. Loud and non-stop. Around half past two, everyone is asleep again. At 5am, the hobbit wakes up and is back to square one. Makes exactly 3 hours of sleep this night. At 6am, the little one wakes up (far too early) and starts crying because she can’t immediately snuggle with me. Also, she seems to have a bad cough so I keep her at home instead of bringing her to her one and only daycare morning of the week. Very much to my regret. Perpetual nagging from the kids for the rest of the forenoon. The situation can only improve, I guess.

About erdhummel

Familial entropy - that's an insight into our current life which has been fundamentally changed last summer when our daughter was born. Having studied in Cottbus, Germany, and worked/studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, we momentarily live in a small town in Switzerland where Karsten is trying to save the environment and Freddie is trying to save our sanity. Since there is not much time for elaborate, long emails while doing that, we thought a blog might be a good option to smuggle ourselves into the lifes of our friends.
