before/after

Mir fiel beim Durchschauen der Gartenbeiträge auf, dass ich ja noch ein Vorher-Nachher-Bild von unserer Kamikaze-Aktion letztes Jahr schuldig bin. Leider fehlt das Bild von der Ausgangssituation. Man stelle sich einfach eine grüne, dornige, verzweigte Hecke vor. Dann folgte letztes Jahr dies:

Das ist natürlich im Winter deutlich weniger grün, aber dafür vom Frühling bis zum Herbst viel, viel bunter! Es wird, es wird!

While I was browsing through the garden posts from last year, I noticed that I still owe you a before/after picture from our front yard. Remember that we had some kamikaze gardening going on last year? Well, here you can see the result now (unfortunately, I don’t have a picture showing the thick, green and thorny hedge that was growing there originally). During the winter, it is less green than before, obviously, but from spring to autumn it just looks so much better, we think.
