Frühstückskonversation / breakfast conversation

(English version follows below)

Der Kleine beim Frühstück: “Isssss will aufmachen! Iss mach das!……(total enthusiastisch) OAH!!!!! DUTT MAL!!!! So gatt und so heich!! (Guck mal! So glatt und so weich).”

Die Große (ebenfalls total enthusiastisch): “Oh ja!!! Ganz glatt! Ohhh, und guck mal, wie schön das in der Sonne aussieht!!”

Der Kleine (fällt fast vom Stuhl vor Begeisterung): “OH JA!! SO HÖÖN!!”

Beide: “Guck mal, Mama! /Dutt mal, Mama!”

Ich schaue mir das neu geöffnete Glas mit Sommerblütenhonig an und freue mich. Über den Honig und wie schön er in der Sonne aussieht, und über den unersetzlichen Enthusiasmus meiner Kinder!

The hobbit at the breakfast table: “Me, me, me!!! I want to open it!…..(very enthusiastically) OAH!!! LOOK!!! So smooth and so soft!!

The little one (also very enthusiastically): “Oh, yes!! So smooth! Ooooh, and look how beautiful it looks standing in the sunshine!”

The hobbit (almost falling off his chair due to his enthusiasm): “OH YES!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!”

Both: “Look, Mama, look!”

I look at the newly opened glas of summer honey and I’m happy. About the honey and how beautiful it looks in the sunshine, and about this precious and irreplacable enthusiasm of my children!

About erdhummel

Familial entropy - that's an insight into our current life which has been fundamentally changed last summer when our daughter was born. Having studied in Cottbus, Germany, and worked/studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, we momentarily live in a small town in Switzerland where Karsten is trying to save the environment and Freddie is trying to save our sanity. Since there is not much time for elaborate, long emails while doing that, we thought a blog might be a good option to smuggle ourselves into the lifes of our friends.
