Wir husten um die Wette. Also der Kleine und ich. Ich seit dem Wochenende ohne Unterlass, der Kleine seit vorgestern. Letzte Nacht habe ich vielleicht zwei Stunden Schlaf (insgesamt, nicht am Stück) gekriegt, in den Nächten davor nur geringfügig mehr (wenn überhaupt). Der Kleine hustet bis tief in die Nacht im Sekundentakt und kriegt kaum noch Luft. Das schlaucht langsam. Der Arzt sagt, es ist ein fieser Hustenvirus, da kann man nichts machen.

Die Tagesmutter hat sich für die ganze nächste Woche auch noch abgemeldet. Virusgrippe.

Unsere Spielverabredung heute nachmittag hat abgesagt. Magendarminvirus.

Draußen knapp über null Grad, Wind und Regen.

The hobbit and I are coughing like there’s no tomorrow. Last night, I slept maybe two hours (all in all, with interruptions) and the nights before hadn’t been significantly better. The hobbit is coughing every other second until early in the morning and is struggling to breathe properly. It’s starting to wear me out.

The day care has called in sick for the whole of next week too. Viral flu.

Our playdate this afternoon called in sick. Stomach flu.

The weather outside: slightly above zero, wind and rain.

Argh!
