fast Frühling (1)/ almost springlike (1)(guest entry by Karsten)

(English version follows below)

Today was almost springlike – hadn`t it been for the strong wind which was still blowing in our faces quite forcefully. Still, the snowdrops in our garden have almost opened their flowers by now and the little one quite obviously enjoyed it a lot to lie in the grass and look into the sky. The little hobbit also was lying next to her, but so briefly that I was unable to get into position fast enough to take a shot of them both (with my macro lens without zoom having been installed). We then tried to find the track down the European toad that we saw in the garden (having accidentally woken her from hibernation) but didnt find it again. Now we are eagerly awaiting the beginning of the garden season, when I can build the elevated flower bed, plant vegetables or just lie in the sun…

About erdhummel

Familial entropy - that's an insight into our current life which has been fundamentally changed last summer when our daughter was born. Having studied in Cottbus, Germany, and worked/studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, we momentarily live in a small town in Switzerland where Karsten is trying to save the environment and Freddie is trying to save our sanity. Since there is not much time for elaborate, long emails while doing that, we thought a blog might be a good option to smuggle ourselves into the lifes of our friends.
