About erdhummel

Familial entropy - that's an insight into our current life which has been fundamentally changed last summer when our daughter was born. Having studied in Cottbus, Germany, and worked/studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, we momentarily live in a small town in Switzerland where Karsten is trying to save the environment and Freddie is trying to save our sanity. Since there is not much time for elaborate, long emails while doing that, we thought a blog might be a good option to smuggle ourselves into the lifes of our friends.

Spring work part 1

Since we are back in Zurich it has become a bit more difficult to find the time for blogging. In Turku I used the little ones afternoon nap for writing because after going for walk I could put the stroller … Continue reading

Greetings from the onion cave

Since babies shouldn’t take nose drops, a cut onion is supposed to bring some relief for the little one at night. So far, I couldn’t observe any progress, but the smell in the bedroom is quite impressive by now.   … Continue reading

Being home again

Yesterday evening, we arrived back home again. The journey went well, the little one once again proved to be a good travel companion. Just the last 20 minutes in the plane and the ride home by car was too much … Continue reading
