Gestern das erste Mal einen Seeadler in freier Natur gesehen, und das direkt vor unserer Haustür. Also, über der Haustür, um genau zu sein. Am Himmel. Und auch das erste (und höchstwahrscheinlich leider Gottes nicht das letzte) Mal der Tochter eine Zecke entfernt. Auf letzteres könnte ich gerne verzichten, aber ich mache mir keine Illusionen, dass das nur der Startschuss der Saison war. Trotzdem: habe ich schon mal erwähnt, wie toll das ist, einen See direkt vor der Haustür zu haben?

Yesterday, I for the very first time spotted a sea eagle. Directly in front of our house. Well, above our house, to be exact. And I had to remove the first (and, most probably, not the last) tick from our daughter. I could have done without the latter, but I am well aware that it was just the starting signal of the season.Still: have I already mentioned how great it is to have a lake right on the other side of the street?

Schön, dass ihr Euch an der neuen Gegend nach all dem Stress freuen könnt:-). Ist Bordesholm endemisch für FSME? Sollte eventuell über Impfung nachgedacht werden?

Norddeutschland ist bisher kein Risikogebiet für FSME, insofern beunruhigt mich das noch nicht so. Aber ich werde beim nächsten Kinderarzttermin vorsichtshalber nochmal nachfragen.
