Für den Montagmorgen standen Dinge wie Staubsaugen, Boden wischen und ein bisschen Schleswig-Holsteinische Geschichte auf meiner Liste. Doch der Morgen war frostig und als ich die Kinder abgegeben hatte, ging am blauen Himmel groß und orange die Sonne auf. Und wie so oft mussten die Pläne warten und ich fuhr kurzentschlossen ins Eidertal für einen kleinen (und kalten) Winterspaziergang. Der Weg lag dort am Anfang zwar noch im Schatten, aber ein bisschen später gab’s reichlich Gelegenheit Vitamin D zu tanken.

On this Monday morning, things like vacuuming, moping the floor and learning a bit about North German history was on my list. But the morning was cold, and when I dropped of the kids at the daycare, a big and orange sun was rising on a blue sky. And the list had to wait, like it has on days like this, and was replaced by a nice (and icy) walk along the Eider river. Oh,  the freedom of mornings without appointments!
